About Us

Direct Windows and Doors is a family run business with 30 years experience.

We pride ourselves on giving the best possible service and product to meet our customers requirements. Our surveys are free with no obligation and no pushy salesman/women. We offer an extremely efficient and professional service to make our customers feel comfortable and at ease.

We Are Local

We manufacture all of our windows and doors at our factory based in Southampton which enables us a fast turnaround and our rates to remain competitive as we are not buying in products from a third part.

About us

10 Years insurance guarantee

All of our windows and doors come with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee from Home Improvement Protection, along with a 10 Year Guarantee from Direct Windows & Doors Ltd.

FENSA Registered

We are fully registered FENSA Installers so our windows and doors are also covered by a FENSA Guarantee. Our installations are regularly inspected by FENSA to ensure compliance and enable us to continue our registration with them.

In house factory

At our factory we also run a glazing shop making our glass units in house, we can also supply mirrors cut to size and shape, and glass cut to size and shape for bespoke designs.

Our team is friendly, polite and knowledgeable and always happy to offer assistance or advise when required.

DWD will only repair their own products.

If you sell your property the guarantee will not be effected it will still cover the windows and doors for 10 years. It may be an idea to contact fensa with new home owners names.  Fensa website www.fensa.org.uk

It would depend on how many windows and doors are being installed and if existing windows were to be removed first or if it’s a new build and the new windows go straight in. This is something that would be discussed at the survey.

We would be happy to supply extra window keys on request

You would need to discuss this with your council or architect. Some do require planning permission depending on size and roof pitches. Or they can be made to suit council regulations where planning wouldn’t be necessary.

Doors can be made to open in and out
